Family Fun with the Neelys!

One of the ways our family receives encouragement is through fellowshipping with like-minded believers. On our recent family vacation we stopped by to see the Neelys.

While there I was overwhelmed by the HOSPITALITY they showed. Their willingness to do all the cooking and cleaning with big smiles
for three whole days was a blessing.

Some of the fun highlights were fixing the trampoline, playing a family game of soccer, launching water balloons, and trying out a funny game called whop with long foam noodles. Thank you Neely Team!

Just yesterday we were blessed to have the Neelys over to our home while they were on their way to a family reunion up north. The Neelys will be going to Lithuania this summer on a family mission trip. So we decided to make Wordless Book key chains for them to give to the little children over there. Let’s keep the Neelys in prayer as they prepare to follow the Lord to Lithuania in July.

I can’t believe we saw the Neely Team twice in one month! Wish that could continue
What a blessing they are! I have to say it was hard to see them drive off Sunday afternoon. But I sure am looking forward to the next time!
Excellent synopsis Sarah. And a big thank you Neely Team! You all are a big blessing and inspiration to us. Keep harmonizing in music and within your household there. The decisions you are making now will continue to bear fruit in the days, months, and years ahead (Galations 6:7).
Oh yes, and I am deeply indebted for yet another whopping batch of corn pudding – scrum-dilly-licious!
What an encouraging post! Sounds like it was both fun and profitable. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourslves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Heb. 10:25)
Great post, Sarah! The Neelys must be a wonderful family. I hope to meet them someday and will be praying for them as they go to Lithuania. Did I really count seven girls and only one little fellow? Sounds about like the inverse of our family.
Robert, they actually have 8 girls and 1 boy (Samuel). Samuel is child number 7 and all boy
! We do hope the day will come where you all can meet them. They are a wonderful family who are striving to glorify the Lord in what they do.
8 girls! Wow!
[...] Providential history of America was the famous flag raising on Iwa Jima. A couple weeks ago when down in North Carolina, several of us were honored to meet our first ever Iwa Jima World War II army veteran (Mr. Glen). [...]
