SNOW!! I just love SNOW!
posted by
We received our first snow storm this December and it actually fell on Adams Birthday! It was a very powdery and was really good for snow balls. I call it puffy snow
We all woke up that morning to snow outside and we all really wanted to go out and play in it. So after Wisdom search we decided to skip breakfast and head out to play in the snow. We had a blast!
The snow ball fight was my favorite activity that morning! We had two teams. One team started on the deck and the other was on the ground. The team on the ground was trying to take over the deck by pelting the team on the deck with snow balls until they surrendered and ran off! It took a lot of working together in order to get the one team off the deck. If one person decided to try and take the deck by them self they would stubble off the stairs very quickly and be covered in snow. But if we went up as a team we had a lot more success!
If we try to only please our self and do things our own way instead of Gods way. It will not work very well. We will stubble and fall. But if we are willing to do things Gods way and work together as a team by looking at our problems from Gods perspective we will have success as we did in our snow ball fight!

What a snowonderful day! I do have one thing to say though, Markie can be a very dangerous snow ball fighter. I received many a puff of snow from his hands….I sure hope we receive a whole bunch more snow.
Teamwork was key in those daring attacks against formidable foes in the deck above. You never knew where that next gallon of snow flakes would come from.
We love snow too! Not too long ago we got 6 inches and went sledding all day. Wish we could have been there to have a snowball fight with you all.
Wow! wasn’t that a fun time. And it is encouraging that you related it all back to Christ.
Great post Markie! You are so right about teamwork and making sure we are on God’s team!
Team Southerland loves to play in the snow too… but, alas, Texas is a bit lacking. But, two days ago we harvested our radishes from our fall garden and we still have beets, turnips, spinach, and garlic to harvest in the next few weeks. Try doing that in Virginia!
Snow, snow, snow!! That was a wonderful morning Markie! It still amazes me that every little snow flake has a different pattern. God sure loves making things extra special and unique!
Wow was that a fun excercise- battle after battle. They seemed to never end. Can’t wait for the next snow storm.
