Where Two or Twenty-Two are Gathered Together…

The Neely Team arrived at our house on a late Friday evening. It was such a blessing to have them here. Every time were with the Neely Team, I m encouraged by their joyful servant spirits. They know how to make hard tasks a lot of fun!
We took them to one of the famous hymn sings put on by the Hynes Family. It was a joyful time of singing and playing music to the Lord.
Whenever we get together with the Neelys, there is always music. One of our favorite things to do is gather around the piano and sing all together. We also had the joy of hearing a wonderful report on their
recent family trip to Lithuania for mission work.
The Bible says that where two or three (or twenty-two) are gathered together
in the Lords name, He is there (Matthew 18:20). The Lord was there and richly blessed our time.

I appreciate the flexibility of the Neelys. The details were worked out for them to come only about a week and a half before the scheduled arrival (and a whopping 8.5+ hour trip one way). But what a blessing and great refreshment their visit brought to our family! Thank you Neely Team – we appreciate you!
That sure was an encouaraging and great time! Thanks for writing about it Sarah.
What a joy it was to see you all!! THANK YOU for coming! Whenever the Neely team is around you are sure to have a splendid time! When we went back in after we waved you all out of sight there was a since of great loss. We were already missing you! Come back soon. We look forward to our next visit with you all.
That was a fresh taste of what it is like to be of one accord, to read your report Sarah! Praise the Lord for glimpses of what heaven will be like! And for now while we are on the earth may it encourage us to rejoice that we are “striving together for the faith of the gospel” to the unsaved (Philippians 1:27).
Sarah thankyou for writeing this post, this time with the Neelys was very encouraging!
Wow! Sarah. I am glad that the Neely’s were able to come. Thankyou for writing this post!
Good thought Donald. If we look forward so much to the happy fellowship of dear friends now, how much we can anticipate our eternal and perfect reunion!!! I am sure the 8 1/2 hour trip to the Wilkes was filled with anticipation and joyous excitement. How much more can our pilgrimage on earth be the same when we have seen the promises afar off and are persuaded of them! (Heb. 11:13)
Amen Michael! I think it must feel something like what we experience as our van turns off Rt. 50 into Salem and then bumps along old Buffalo Calf road to the cherriest house in the West Virginia mountains!
