I am so thankful for Roy’s eagerness to share his experience and knowledge with us in a Biblical context. It filled my heart with such joy to meditate on the many Scriptures that speak of the Christian’s duty to diligently maintain a regular pattern of good works, and one way to do that is to be ready to serve and help in times of disaster or emergency, when people’s needs are felt the most. Only after we know the love of Christ does the opportunity to do this become a joy that outweighs the burden of sacrifice and discomfort that come with it. Praise the Lord. Let us continue to abide in Him.
