One morning while eating breakfast, Sarah and I looked on the back of a cereal box.There were some questions about past American presidents. I started to read them and everybody tried to guess. It was a lot of fun. Let’s see if you can answer some of these.

1. Name three Chief Executives who served as U.S. Generals prior to their election as President.

        2.What are the four state capital cities named for U.S.Presidents?                                             

        3.Identify the President on both the penny and the $5 bill.

Markie’s brithday was just here. It was very exciting. In the morning we put streamers and balloons up. A family tradition we have is eating oven pancakes on birthday mornings. It is one of our family’s favorite breakfast meals. However, we were not able to celebrate his birthday that night, but Markie waited very patiently. One week later, we celebrated his birthday with Grandpa and Grandma and the Roches (our cousins). He opened many presents and cards including a warm blanket made by Mom. We all ate a beautiful cake made by Jennifer along with ice cream. It was a wonderful night. Thank you Markie for setting a good example of patience. ~ Adam

This past month Dad has been really encouraging us  to think. He has been giving riddles and math equations for us to think about. I am grateful that I have a Dad that helps me think.

Here are some riddles for you to figure out:

1.I,am a little, red fruit,
And I start with C;
George Washing with a axe,
Once chopped down my tree.

2.I mean to go fast,
And I start with R;
Of course you walk,
And go just as far.

3.My gun just cannot shoot,
But rolles on four wheels;
Alone my dog’s tail,
Tells just how good he feels.
